Through hard work, effort and a true focus on safety, our EMR is now at .69. The EMR is a rating plan insurance companies use to recognize the workers’ compensation claims experience between individual employers. An employer with an EMR of 1.00 is average, with less than 1.00 above average, and higher than 1.00 below average. MKS regularly receives awards for workplace safety from the northern Indiana Building Contractor’s Association.
